Gorton's has several locations in the U.S. and Canada, with our headquarters located in Gloucester, Massachusetts, where we've had our homeport for over 150 years.
Gloucester, MA
Living on the North Shore
Gloucester is a beautiful place, and we're lucky to work at the original Gorton's building that's a short walk from downtown and stands right across from Gloucester Harbor. Every day we look outside the window and see boats travel to and from the Atlantic Ocean. Sometimes the water's choppy, sometimes it's still and calm, but just like the work here at Gorton's - it's different every day and always brings something new and interesting.
Gloucester is located just 45 minutes north of Boston, and there are several places to live along the way - just outside the city in the bustling Cambridge or Somerville, in the historic and active town of Salem right on the water, or in any of the many northern suburbs like Danvers, Beverly, Hamilton, or Manchester. Living in the Northshore, we have access to so many great areas and attractions. In the wintertime, New Hampshire and Vermont offer ample skiing and winter sports, just a two to three hour drive away. In the summer, you can't beat the beaches in Beverly, Manchester, and of course - right here in Gloucester! The fall also brings fun activities like apple picking and visits to local farms to search for that perfect pumpkin. Year-round, Glouceser is a great place to live and work!

Directions to Gorton's
From the South & Boston
Follow either Route 93 or Route 1 north to intersection with Route 128. Take Route 128 North all the way to the end. Go through two traffic circles, exiting straight ahead (12 o'clock). At first traffic lights turn right onto Eastern Avenue. At end, bear right onto Rogers Street. Continue about 1/4 mile. See large "Gorton's man at the wheel" sign on right side. Gorton's Seafood Center is on the left; the Main Office is on the right.
From the North
Follow Route 95 south from Maine/New Hampshire to Route 128. Take Route 128 North all the way to the end. Go through two traffic circles, exiting straight ahead (12 o'clock). At first traffic lights turn right onto Eastern Avenue. At end, bear right onto Rogers Street. Continue about 1/4 mile. See large "Gorton's man at the wheel" sign on right side. Gorton's Seafood Center is on the left; the Main Office is on the right.
From the West
Follow Route 90 (Massachusetts Turnpike) east to Route 128/Route 95. Take Route 128 / Route 95 north. Stay on Route 128 after it splits with Route 95. Proceed on Route 128 North all the way to the end. Go through two traffic circles, exiting straight ahead (12 o'clock). At first traffic lights turn right onto Eastern Avenue. At end, bear right onto Rogers Street. Continue about 1/4 mile. See large "Gorton's man at the wheel" sign on right side. Gorton's Seafood Center is on the left; the Main Office is on the right.
