Description

Wild-caught Pollock covered in lemon, cracked peppercorns and Panko breadcrumbs. Bold, delicious seafood has never been easier with Gorton’s Lemon & Cracked Peppercorn Fish Fillets.

Cooking Directions

Conventional Oven

UNCOOKED. KEEP FROZEN UNTIL READY TO COOK. MICROWAVING IS NOT RECOMMENDED.

1. Move oven rack to middle of oven.

2. Heat oven to 425°F.

3. Arrange fish fillets in a shallow metal baking pan, leaving space between fillets.

4. Bake uncovered 17 to 19 minutes* until coating is golden brown and crunchy. Flip fillets after 12 minutes of cooking.

*FULLY COOK FILLETS TO AN INTERNAL TEMPERATURE OF 165°F OR HIGHER BEFORE SERVING.

Microwaving is not recommended. Although great care is taken to remove bones, some may remain.

Pollock fillets:
Pollock, water, sodium tripolyphosphate (to retain fish moisture).

Breadcrumb coating:
Wheat flour, water, enriched bleached wheat flour (flour, niacin, iron, thiamin mononitrate, riboflavin, folic acid), yellow corn flour, sugar, salt, corn syrup solids, butter, spices, whey, yeast, dehydrated roasted garlic, black pepper, baking powder (baking soda, sodium aluminum phosphate, cream of tartar), lemon juice, nonfat milk, maltodextrin, citric acid, natural flavor, colored with paprika, annatto and turmeric extracts, dextrose, malic acid, caramel color.

Vegetable oil:
Canola and/or soybean oil.

I like to make sure that we have a variety of Gorton's Fish Fillets on hand in our freezer. The lemon and cracked pepper seasoned fillets go well on top of this vegetable bowl to elevate it and make it taste artisan good. We can taste the seasoning in every bit along with the flaky fish and the crunch crispy coating. It is a delight for the tastebuds all around and adds so much to a bowl of vegetables.
