Air Fried Shrimp
Seafood that is a win-win. Crowd-pleasing fried taste with a breading that won’t weigh you down. Gorton’s Air Fried Butterfly Shrimp are fried in air, not oil, for a light & crispy breading with less grease and fat. Whole tail-on shrimp, sourced responsibly, and a good source of protein. We air fry our products so that you don’t have to. Enjoy air fried benefits straight from your oven or air fryer.
Cooking Directions: Uncooked. Keep frozen until ready to cook. You can cook either way!
Conventional Oven:
1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
2. Arrange on metal baking pan.
3. Bake 17-19 minutes total (Fully cook shrimp to an internal temperature of 145 degrees F or higher before serving). Flip after 10 minutes.
Air Fryer (Air fryers can have varying operation methods and wattages. Please consider your appliance when following these instructions):
1. Spray air fryer basket with non-stick cooking spray.
2. Arrange shrimp in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
3. Fry shrimp at 400 degrees F for 11-13 minutes total (Fully cook shrimp to an internal temperature of 145 degrees F or higher before serving). Flip after 6 minutes. Keep frozen.

The shrimps cook perfectly in the airfryer. The puter coating cooks evenly and becomes golden in the air fryer while the shrimp inside cooks perfectly. The shrimp remains juicy and soft. The taste is great aswell. It is well seasoned

This was a flop in my opinion. I followed the bag directions for my Air Fryer and they turned out terrible. The texture was weird and they were flat and looked unappetizing. Its not something I'd buy again.

I made these last week for a side with dinner everyone loved them. We love shrimp and these were delicious I made them in the air fryer and they turned out very crispy on the breading but moist and juicy inside so good!i do recommend these shrimp for a great snack or side to any dinner!

Once they had toasted up nice I took a bite and they tasted just like other fried shrimp from this brand I had before. There's a smaller quantity in this bag it seems, I wish there was more to share. It tasted good but it wasn't anything to get excited about. I think this is a good Frozen snack, but not something I would use as an addition to a meal. I can't really tell the difference between the air fry texture and the regular fried shrimp, but the shrimp pieces were smaller, they seemed a bit smaller than the other original butterfly shrimp. Either way maybe I'd buy this if I was entertaining for like a Super Bowl party and wanted to serve these as appetizers.

I haven't been able to eat fried shrimp in a long time as it doesn't agree with me so I was so excited to try these air fried shrimp. Obviously, they aren't going to be the same as if you made homemade fried shrimp, but they are pretty dang good for a frozen alternative. I would recommend trying!

It doesn’t look like a package photo. I like the taste, but it was a bit too dry for me. I felt more of the bread and less of the shrimp meat. I kept it a bit too long I think it became dried. This product is easily available in frozen section in most of the major stores . the prices is affordable. The package has ziplock to store . Overall I liked the taste wish it was made with jumbo shrimp .

I am beyond glad I did. I popped it in the air fryer, and within minutes it was ready to go. It was crisp, flavorful, and as fresh as some restaurants! Plus, it was a fraction of the cost of restaurant pricing, so that made it taste better too.
I 100% recommend this and look forward to having it again! I’m even going to trial it as an appetizer for dinner with my parents tomorrow night. Go grab this now! (Before more people find out). The air fryer definitely made this superior.

These were really delicious. Gorton’s does a good job of producing frozen seafood that never tastes like it’s been frozen. These were meaty and tasted so good. I like to enjoy my shrimp with tartar sauce, but these are good even without sauce. I would buy these again. Yum!
These were really delicious. Gorton’s does a good job of producing frozen seafood that never tastes like it’s been frozen. These were meaty and tasted so good. I like to enjoy my shrimp with tartar sauce, but these are good even without sauce. I would buy these again. Yum!

The bag his resealable which makes it easy for cooking a few and resealing for the freezer. I cooked per the instructions on the pack and they did cook as expected. The breading is not too thick and the shrimp are a decent size. I would recommend over the original butterfly shrimp as these are a bit healthier.

I don't like to fry at home since I can never really get restaurant-quality and it makes such a mess and is such a waste of oil. But sometimes I just want that crunch on top of something like a salad or pasta. I was pleased to find this in the store, and air-fried makes it a healthier option for sure. We used these on a pesto pasta dish with veggies and it made a nice topper. Since we're a family of 4, I didn't think there were enough shrimp in one package for me to justify the cost of it, as everyone wanted more than 4 shrimp on their plate (I only got 3). But they were tasty and cooked properly according to the directions. If my kids could offer their opinion, there wouldn't be tails left on either.

I got these Gorton's New Air Fried Butterfly Shrimp a few weeks ago to try because my kids absolutely love shrimp.
At first I thought this is probably not going to taste much different than their regular shrimp but I was wrong. It absolutely does taste different and even better. I love that it has 50% less fat so its heathier for you.
I got these because it would be simple yet a healthier lunch for my kids. They absolutely loved them. They asked if we could have more the next day for lunch. So needless to say by the end of the week when it was time to get groceries we had to buy a few more bags.
You can easily cook these in the oven or air fryer so don't worry if you don't have an air fryer. They still taste amazing in the oven. We have tried them both ways and really like cooking them both ways. It all depends on what else I'm making if I cook them in the oven or air fryer. I would highly recommend these absolutely delicious shrimp!

I bought these as a appetizer for a work function. They were quick to cook in the air fryer we had at work, and everyone enjoyed them. They tasted great but were a little to heavy on the breading to me.

These come out so crispy in the air fryer… only takes about 10 minutes. Definitely worth trying if you love shrimp! I used these in po boys and salads. Delicious! Honestly company worthy and so quick and easy.

I tried the air fried butterfly shrimp and they are super crunchy and so delicious I couldn't stop eating them. I loved the crunch and the light flavor of the crust. They were just as good if not better than what I would get at a restaurant.

I truly enjoyed these air fried butterfly shrimp. The coating had a nice crispness and the shrimp were delicious. They didn’t take long at all to heat up. I enjoyed every single one. They were delicious.

My kid loves fried shrimp (really all shrimp, but fried he loves the most). We haven't had a chance to get out to the restaurants as much as we have in the past due to the pandemic and the Inclement weather, so when I had the chance go grab a bag of these I jumped at it.
We popped a half dozen into the air fryer and within a reasonable amount of time my kiddo was able to devour them. So we loaded up another six.
He approves.
