Spicy Orange Popcorn Shrimp
Tired of spending money on Chinese takeout every week? Mix things up with this Spicy Orange Popcorn Shrimp recipe. A tangy kick of heat in every crispy bite and you don’t even have to pay for delivery.
1 14 oz pkg Gorton’s Popcorn Shrimp
1 cup Sweet Orange Marmalade
1 tbsp Sriracha Hot Chili Sauce
Cook one 14 oz package of Gorton’s Popcorn Shrimp as directed on the package.
In a small saucepan, add one cup of Sweet Orange Marmalade and place on medium heat for 5 min.
After the marmalade’s consistency has reduced to a sauce, add one tablespoon of Sriracha Hot Chili Sauce to the Sweet Orange Marmalade and stir thoroughly using a fork or small whisk. Cook an additional 5 minutes and remove from the heat.
Once the 14 oz package of Gorton’s Popcorn Shrimp is completely cooked, place the hot shrimp in a large bowl. Gently toss the hot Spicy Orange sauce to coat the shrimp using a large spoon.
Garnish the Spicy Orange Shrimp with toasted sesame seeds, finely sliced scallions, or orange zest.
