Preparation

Step 1

Place Gorton’s Gorton’s Pub Style Cod Fillets on a baking sheet and cook the fillets according to package instructions.

Step 2

Cook steak-cut French fries according to package instructions. Lightly spray with olive oil if baking, and season immediately with Old Bay while hot.

Step 3

Make the coleslaw: In a large bowl, combine green and purple shredded cabbage and carrots. In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, honey (or sugar), salt, and pepper. Pour dressing over cabbage mixture and toss until evenly coated. Refrigerate until ready to serve.

Transfer crispy cod and seasoned fries to a serving platter. Serve with lemon wedges for squeezing over the fish and a generous side of homemade coleslaw.
