Caribbean Shrimp Platter
Choose your own flavor combo with a shrimp platter starring Gorton’s Crunchy Butterfly Shrimp and your choice of Caribbean green sauce, jerk sauce or mango chutney. Better yet, go with all three!

Ingredients

Gorton’s Crunchy Butterfly Shrimp
Store-bought jerk sauce
For the Mango Chutney:
2 cups mango
1 diced onion
2 cloves minced garlic
1 diced jalapeno
2 tbsp brown sugar
2 tsp cumin
½ tsp salt
1 tbsp lime juice
1 tbsp lime zest
½ tsp salt
For the Caribbean Green Sauce:
½ cup olive oil
1 celery stalks, chopped
½ cup parsley
½ cup cilantro
2 green onions
2 cloves minced garlic
2 tbsp thyme leaves
1 fresno chili, chopped
1 tbsp lime juice
½ tsp salt
Preparation
Step 1
Cook Gorton’s® Crunchy Butterfly Shrimp according to package directions until 145°F or higher.
For the Mango Chutney:
Step 1
Add diced mango to a pan over medium heat with diced onion, garlic and jalapeno. Cook until soft. Add brown sugar, cumin, salt and mix.
Step 2
Once all ingredients are combined, transfer mixture from pan to a food processor. Add lime juice, zest and salt.
Step 3
Blend until smooth. Serve alongside Gorton’s® Crunchy Butterfly Shrimp and enjoy!
For the Caribbean Green Sauce:
Step 1
In a food processor, add olive oil, celery stalks, parsley, cilantro, green onions, minced garlic, thyme leaves, fresno chili, lime juice and salt.
Step 2
Blend until smooth. Serve alongside Gorton’s® Crunchy Butterfly Shrimp and enjoy!
