Prosciutto Wrapped Apple & Shrimp Bites

Impress your guests with Brunch with the Brittains’ innovative pairing of crispy shrimp with decadent ingredients like soft brie, prosciutto, balsamic glaze, and a slice of honey crisp apple.

Gorton’s Butterfly Shrimp

1 (9.2 oz) box Gorton’s Butterfly Shrimp
2 medium Honeycrisp apples, sliced into rounds with seeds removed
6 oz sliced prosciutto
6 oz soft brie cheese (you can also use a spreadable brie instead of from a wedge or wheel)
12 sprigs lettuce
Balsamic glaze for topping


Step 1

Cook shrimp according to box instructions.

Step 2

While shrimp is baking, wrap each apple slice in a piece of prosciutto.

Step 3

Place each wrapped apple slice in a frying pan and sear for about 2 minutes on each side or until the prosciutto is crispy. Remove from heat, and immediately top with desired amount of brie.

Step 4

Top with a sprig of lettuce, then 1 piece of Gorton’s Butterfly Shrimp. Drizzle with balsamic glaze.

Step 5

Serve warm and enjoy!
