Gorton’s Classic Grilled Salmon Fillets

8 ounces cream cheese, softened
¼ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon smoked paprika
1 teaspoon liquid smoke
1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
3 dashes hot sauce
12.6 ounces Gorton’s Classic Grilled Salmon Fillets (two 6.3 ounce packages)
4-5 green onions, chopped
2 tablespoons chopped parsley (reserve 1 teaspoon for garnish)

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 400°F. On a parchment-lined baking sheet, bake salmon fillets for 16 minutes.

Step 2

Meanwhile, mix together cream cheese, salt, garlic powder, smoked paprika, liquid smoke, lemon juice, & hot sauce either in a food processor, with a mixer, or by hand.

Step 3

When the salmon has finished cooking, allow it to cool, then add to the mixture along with the green onions and parsley (if mixing by hand, flake the salmon first) and blend together.

Step 4

Chill for about one hour, then garnish with remaining parsley and serve with your favorite crackers, chips or veggies.
