Artisan Fillets with Swiss Chard

This simple side dish made with fresh, seasonal ingredients pairs perfectly with Gorton’s Roasted Garlic & Italian Herb Artisan Fillets.

Ingredients

Gorton’s Roasted Garlic & Italian Herb Artisan Fillets

1 pkg (5 fillets) Gorton’s Roasted Garlic & Italian Herb Artisan Fillets

3 tbsp olive oil

1/2 small red onion, very thinly sliced

4 cloves garlic, minced

Pinch hot pepper flakes (optional)

1 bunch Swiss chard, trimmed

1 tbsp lemon juice

1/4 tsp salt

Preparation

Step 1

Prepare Gorton’s Roasted Garlic & Italian Herb Fillets according to package instructions.

Step 2

Meanwhile, heat the oil in a large nonstick skillet set over medium-low heat. Add the onion, garlic and hot pepper flakes (if using). Cook, stirring, for 5 minutes or until fragrant.

Step 3

Arrange the whole Swiss chard leaves, in an even layer, in the skillet. Cook, covered, for 5 minutes or until wilted. Toss lightly to coat in oil. Drizzle lemon juice over Swiss chard and sprinkle with salt.  Serve with hot, cooked fillets.
