Bang Bang Shrimp Lettuce Wraps
Bang Bang Shrimp is the perfect combination of creamy, crunchy, sweet and spicy when you use Gorton’s Air Fried Butterfly Shrimp. You can serve this delicious appetizer as is, or as Cooking with Manuela does: in a refreshing butter lettuce wrap and topped with avocado and tomato.
1. In a small bowl, combine all of the bang bang sauce ingredients and whisk to combine.
2. Cook the shrimp following the directions on the package.
3. Top each lettuce leaf with about 3 shrimp drizzled or dipped in the prepared sauce. Top with scallions, tomatoes, and avocados if you like. And serve.
Bang Bang Sauce:
½ cup of mayonnaise
¼ cup Thai sweet chili sauce
1 teaspoon hot sauce
1 teaspoon honey
1 package of Gorton’s Air Fried Butterfly Shrimp
4-6 butter lettuce leaves
Sliced scallions (green part)
1 tomato, cubed
1 avocado, sliced
Air Fried Shrimp
Air fried for light & crispy breading on the outside and tender shrimp on the inside
